Establishment of the Senegalese-German trade association (SeDeWi) registered association.

Founders' meeting in Berlin (openPR) - following the official attendance of the Senegalese president, Abdoulaye calf, at the beginning of Septembers in Germany, in Berlin a restaurant federation was created, to which German and Senegalese restaurant participants belong, who sat down to the goal of contributing with their projects to a lasting development of Senegal.

The founders' meeting was held to 25.11.06 in the message of the Republic of Senegal in Berlin under the presidency from Abdoul Aziz Ndiaye, envoy of the Ambassador, His Excellency Cheikh Sylla and the first message secretary Mohamed Diop responsible for economics. The Senegalese and German members politically and religiously independent association „of the SeDeWi “are entrepreneurs or leading employees from the ranges of the economy and science.

Ibrahima Badiane, entrepreneur and initiator of the project, was selected to the chairman of the Senegalese-German trade association (SeDeWi) registered association.

The federation makes its network and its know-how available, in order to strengthen the economic activities between Senegal and Germany.

As most important first activities of the association were designated:

• Stabilization of the perception of Senegal as destination for German holiday-makers by different graduation activities in Germany
• Activities to environmental protection
• Execution of agricultural projects
• Stabilization of the Senegalese energy sector, particularly by the employment of renewable energies
• Job creation, in order to proceed against the illegal immigration
• Mechanism of an information network work and an Internet appearance

The association offers a logistic and financial support for multiple restaurant activities and carries by its binational knowledge (Senegal and Germany) to manufacture economical tieses and to thus bring the establishment of Senegalese branches of German enterprises in front.

The Senegalese-German trade association multiplies its scope of action and strengthens the project development between Senegalese and German restaurant participants by competent network work. The association would like to thus contribute to an intensified co-operation of both nations and to strengthen the friendly connections between Senegal and Germany further.
