Kind-fair Ziervogelhaltung - the VWFD on the Green week
(openPR) - the year 2007 began registered association very much for the association of the waving CCIT I FRIENDs Germany (VWFD) promising: In the context of the international Greens week 2007 in Berlin the VWFD was invited by the veterinary surgeon chamber Berlin to care for together with different veterinary surgeons a status of information to the topic “kind-fair Ziervogelhaltung”.
The goal of this status of information was to clear bird owners up over the needs of the pinnated fellow tenants. That means among other things: no single attitude, daily free flight, recovers to nutrition and the correct cage equipment. Attitude-conditioned illnesses can be prevented by these and other measures. A further goal was to promote by better information the understanding between animal and owner and to sensitize the owners of bird for the needs of their animals.
Since Wellensittiche are popular domestic animals, the consultation found by the VWFD moves Zuspruch with the visitors. Strong demand gave it to the topic to single attitude. It was to be registered positively that obviously a reorientation takes place and an attitude in pairs of the lively bent bills becomes gradually natural. Many visitors wanted to also inform, starting from which age Wellensittiche for children are suitable and which applies to consider it thereby. Apart from a detailed consultation locally interested also to the special child side of the VWFD in the Internet referred (www.vwfd-kinderecke.de), on which children only agefairly about Wellensittiche inform can, but also tinkering guidances to find, in order to adorn their small friends at home. The diseases of the pinnated fellow tenants formed a further large group of topics. Together with the veterinary surgeons was tried to give in the bounds of possibility, Tipps for the improvement of the attitude conditions as well as suggestions on welfare methods.
The status of information on the Green week could the VWFD as large success for itself book: Thus not only many Wellensittichhalter became on the association attentive, but the veterinary surgeons could make themselves also locally a picture of the work of the non-profit association. The homepage of the VWFD (www.vwfd.de) found high Zuspruch among the specialists and was enthusiastically further-recommended. Both parties could profit and to the VWFD in such a way hope that successful co-operation with the veterinary surgeon chamber Berlin will be continued beyond the fair.

Over the association of the waving CCIT I FRIENDs Germany (VWFD) registered association.
The VWFD was created on 06 April 2002 in Cologne to use themselves with the goal, for completely normal Wellensittiche in completely normal households and clear up over the kind-fair attitude of these popular domestic animals. In July 2003 the entry took place in the register of associations. In order to achieve these goals, the association operates a successful, very informative Internet side and a well visited forum. In addition the VWFD in different projects and actions use themselves the joy in Wellensittichen for the well-being of the Wellensittiche, e.g. by consultation of Wellensittichhaltern, by which co-operation with zoo actions, home animal need shops, Tierheimen, breeders, veterinary surgeons and naturally all interested one, have.
In October 2006 the association has already approximately 200 members, a number those constantly grows.
