The musical evening is opened by Nidia Striem and Roland Bobe with songs from Latin America. Nidia was born in Colombia and lived until before seven years in Cali (Colombia). The next musician originates from Iran. The 34jährige Percussionist Hadi Alizadeh was born in Ilam and studied in Teheran with master Bahman Rajabi the Persian drum Tonbak. Auto+didactically he taught himself the art of the Daf play. In Iran it had numerous appearances with festivals, in the broadcast and on the television. Starting from 1995 it informed music students in classical Persian drum technology. Since 2002 it lives in Germany. Here it continued its training activity at different mechanisms, among other things at the free music center Munich. Its artistic emphasis is the exchange with musicians of other cultures. He worked in passed the years with Rudi taps, to embryos, digitally Orient, Tuna Trio, Tanja Arab and further Persian/Kurdish groups together and arose on European World Music festivals.

The Daf is a Rahmentrommel also over 2000 years of old history. It is predominantly played in Persia (today Iran and Kurdistan). With the Islamic Sufis of the Persian area it is used in rituals and is important ceremonies a drum. The Tonbak, a becherförmige drum, from firm Maulbeerholz carved and with a lamb or a goat skin referred, has its homeland likewise in Persia. The Tonbak is used both in the Persian people music as well as in the classical Persian music. Hadi Alizadeh live to hear is a special experience: its drum play is far more than rhythm and sound - it carries the listener forward on the journey into a far world.

The evening is completed by the violonist Winny Matthias. Since the infancy it is familiar with gypsy music. Auto+didactically he learns violin and guitar, gains first experiences in the skirt music. Travel and a becoming acquainted with of eastern music lead back to the gypsy music, then to Blues and jazz. 1980 it creates its own formation „Gadzho “, with which it tourt twelve years by Central Europe and brings plates in. Beside he works always also interdisciplinary with education and video artists. It stands for Zurzeit among other things with the authoress Julia protection with „Stempenju “and the pianist Hans wolf on the stage. Also with Hadi Alizadeh, he learned which to know by his training activity for violin and improvisation at the free music center in Munich, it inspired the public already together. This will succeed to it surely also with the Benediktbeurer Benefizkonzert.
