The association rabbit in emergency registered association stops co-operation with the rabbit flap in Leipzig

(openPR) - after a co-operation with the operator of the Leipziger rabbit flap, Mr. Klaus Jentzsch, under animal-protection-legal aspects is no longer possible, terminates rabbits in emergency co-operation and uses themselves for the locking the rabbit flap.

Beginning of the yearly began rabbits in emergency to engage itself for the rabbit flap. Beside the collection of donation funds the association assured energetic support to the operator of the flap with the building of enclosures as well as assistance with the veterinary supply of the rabbits. In this way it should be prevented that the rabbit flap develops to a barrel without soil. The rabbits delivered there hoppelten unkastriert in disorder; it was only one question of the time, until with the spring beginning the birth rate would accept difficult-to-understand extents with the animals drastically to rise and so the rabbit existence. Besides the state of health of the animals was partly very critical.
A fast intervention was thus necessary. Under hardest climatic conditions, with Matsch and ground frost, club members built provisional enclosures, in order to separate the animals according to sexes. The rabbits could medically be supplied and the Rammler be kastriert by the collected donations.

Co-operation between the association and the operator of the rabbit flap did not run however always smoothly. After Mr. Jentzsch had criticized the condition of the provisional enclosures, by the association was offered to him to establish this with professional assistance again. This rejected Mr. Jentzsch however.
Despite medical supply by one of the association paid animal lady doctor diseases could not be out-cured such as failure and parasite infestation due to the bad hygenic conditions and little kind-fair feeding.
Further discrepancies arose concerning the support of the animals. The operator of the flap wished a regular assistance with the daily care, which the association could not ensure due to only the few active members locally. Besides Mr. Jentzsch behaved partly very unfriendly opposite the aids.
The moreover one it represented the assistance of the association than „bungle “and „to donation money spendengeldverschwendung “.
The association dissociates itself from at present dominant conditions, which were caused by an unsatisfactory guidance of the flap on the part of the operator and its Unwille for co-operation in the sense of the animal protection.

From the donations collected for the rabbit flap already about 75% were spent on the building of enclosures and the medical supply of the rabbits. If it should come to a locking of the rabbit flap, the remaining donation funds are handed over to the places, which take over rabbits from the flap. Otherwise for the release of the funds for further projects of the association one asks.

After a co-operation is no longer possible and the conditions in the rabbit flap worsened so the fact that the health of the animals held there is endangered pushes rabbits in emergency now on a locking of the mechanism.
