New forming of the Oxo business: International chemistry enterprise Oxea successfully started

Logo Oxea (openPR) - upper living, 01.03.2007 - under the owner shank of the investor Advent international took up the Oxea group today their business concern. In December 2006 Advent international had transferred selected parts of the enterprise of Celanese chemicals as well as the chemistry enterprise European Oxo, a joint venture of Celanese and Degussa, for 480 millions euro. These were united after approval of the Kartellbehörden to a new enterprise. The product range of the changed over business remains, existing contracts and orders complete by Oxea is taken over. Computationally Oxea converts 1.2 billion euro annually and employs approximately 1,300 coworkers at four production locations in Germany and the USA. Oxea produces and drives world-wide Polyole out, solvents and Oxo derivatives.

“We offer our customers world-wide a well co-ordinated Produktportfolio over the entire Oxo Wertschöpfungskette away. The new Oxea group is thereby one of the largest offerers of different solvents, Polyolen, carbonic acids, alkyl amines and Olefin derivatives for most different ranges of application such as coatings, colors, lubricants and plastics”, said Dr. Martina Flöel, spokeswoman of the Oxea management. “By the commitment of Advent international and the integration of the business we can optimize now creation of value chains and think beside the strong focus on Europe and North America about expansions to Eastern Europe and Asia”, so Flöel further.

“We have large experience with the integration and new focusing of enterprises”, said Ronald Ayles of Advent international. “With Oxea we see very large Potenzial for further growth. We will lastingly support that with our resources and our industry network.”

Over Oxea:
Oxea developed in March 2007 from the union divisions of Celanese chemicals, selected by European Oxo and. For a very broad range of application and drives the enterprise produces world-wide among other things solvents out, Polyole and Oxo derivatives, like e.g. carbonic acids and alkyl amines. These are used e.g. in high-quality coatings, lubricants, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products, flavour and odoriferous substances, printing inks as well as plastics. Oxea has computationally an annual conversion of approximately 1.2 billion euro and busily approximately 1,300 coworkers in Germany (upper living and Marl) as well as the USA (Bay town center and Bishop). These are supported world-wide in the most important markets by Oxea by an experienced selling team.
