On 12 February the meeting of the Minister cabinet of the Republic of Usbekistan took place. This meeting was dedicated to the results of the socio-economical development of the Republic of Usbekistan in the year 2006 and further priorities of the recess of the restaurant reforms in the year 2007. On the meeting the president of the Republic of Usbekistan Islam Karimov held a lecture.

It was stressed that in the year 2006 in Usbekistan a stable economic growth became secured. The gross domestic product rose by 7,3 per cent, industrielle the production volume - around 10,8 per cent, consumer goods - by 20,6 per cent, the production of agricultural production - around 6,2 per cent, entgeltliche services - by 19,3 per cent, construction work contractual - by 12,8 per cent.

The national budget was fulfilled with profit 0.5 per cent to GROS DOMESTIC PRODUCT. The inflation rate formed 6.8 per cent. The investment climate was improved, the range of the direct investments by 25,4 per cent rose. Consequently by the total investment into the production department 68.3 per cent was invested. About 50 per cent of all investments was directed on the renewal of the technological parks and toward the acquisition of new technologies. The deep changes happen in the agriculture. In particular, in the previous year on the basis of the 666 Shirkat managing more than 74,000 farm gaining was created. More than half of it are specialized in the range of the fruit and vegetable growing. 2006 was created about 200 Agro companies. The task of these Agro companies exists wine production in the production and the processing of fruit and vegetable as well as.

In the course of the meeting it was underlined that in the report period also the range of the external trade activity grew. The range of the goods export rose by 31,5 per cent. The positive balance of the externaleconomical activity formed about 2 billion US Dollar. As result of the met appropriate measures within the range of the provision of work in the year 2006 about 570,000 working premises were created, among them over 60,000 working premises by cooperation of the house trade with large industrial enterprises.

Material wages of the population grew by 36 per cent, and the real income - average by 22 per cent.

In the letzen year also many measures were met for the social protection of the assistance-needy layer of the population, for the realization of the appropriate national programs in the area of the education, further training, the health and social protection of the population. In particular in the previous year 6 academic Lyzeen with 8,000 training places and 124 Berufskolleges with 70.000 training places in enterprise one took. 61 schools were again developed, 385 schools were reconstructed complete and 530 schools reconditioned.

As most important priorities of the economical program for 2007 the following was specified:

First of all, the safety device of the stable and balanced growth speeds, the structuring and modernization of the economy, the technical and technological renewal of the most important industries, the further liberalisation of the tax policy;

Secondly, the creation of maximally favorable conditions for the development of employers, above all, private business, and the gradual lowering of the presence of the state in the economy;

Thirdly, the greatest possible reinforcement of the activities for consulting the foreign investments, above all the direct investments;

Fourth, the supply of the gradual increase of the work payment and the quality of life of the population;

Fünftens, the all-round support of the accelerated development of the small and private employers, the solution in this way of problems of the occupation of the population and the increase of the prosperity of humans;

Sixth, the far recess and the development of yardsticks of the reforms in the bank and financial system;

In seventh place, the far recess of the economic reforms in the local economy.
