Politics from first hand: Workshop for young women
It's our turn!
(openPR) - “It's our turn!” young women at the age offer a varied and exciting program in Berlin between 17 and 21 years, which would like themselves to engage or engage politically. With attendance, rounds of talks and trainings the young women from first hand experience, how politics function. The emphasis is on the topic migration and integration: How do young humans with migration background live today in Germany Which politics pursue the Federal Government Which interesting intercultural initiatives and networks are there
“It's our turn!” takes place from 31 January to 4 February in Berlin. On the program stand among other things the one-day company of a delegate of the German federal daily for very close experiencing of the politics all policy and a professional presentation and Diversity training. Beyond that the young women visit the Office of the Federal Chancellor and meet in rounds of talks successful women from politics and economics as well as on representatives from intercultural networks.
A goal of the Workshops is it to mediate participant inside of knowledge of migration-political work and to encourage it in its political interest and in its ascent orientation.
An application with writing down and short personal record is necessary - application conclusion is 22 January 2007. Applications of girls and young women with migration background are particularly welcome!

“It's our turn!” by the European academy for women in politics and economics Berlin registered association (EAF) is accomplished in co-operation with the federal center for political education. With the Workshopkonzept “It's our turn! ”, that was promoted by the Federal Ministry for family, seniors, women and youth in the context of a model project, the EAF a unique instrument for the motivation and cross-linking of young women developed.
