Press statement of the U/J/M/E: We are Jeni - and Jeni we want to also remain

U/J/M/E - Union of the JENI minority in Europe (openPR) - the UJME, the Jeni culture federation Austria registered association and the Jeni federation in Germany e.V, explains hereby the fact that the wheel cooperative in Switzerland neither the right has nor to it is authorized explanations in the name all JENI in Europe to deliver. The RG as roof federation „of Swiss “JENI can speak if necessary for JENI in Switzerland!

We dissociate ourselves also from „the entry explanation “of the wheel cooperative into the ROMANI UNION. (The admission took place in March 1979) official confirmation, (Berne, 12.November 1997) (January signs Cibula) from Dr. med. and particularly with internationally „the declaration “JENI already connected with it as „trunk of the Roma “, and/or also again and again as a kind „sub-group “„the Roma “o.ä.! We explain expressly, JENI are historically and also scientifically proven an absolutely independent, ur-European group of peoples, which represents their interests exclusively.

Such a decision is not entitled to the wheel cooperative only for and your members, for the people JENI is committing this and by this is not recognized! We have ourselves neither anxious around an admission into the ROMANI UNION (or one of the other controlling bodies „of the Roma “) still agree we with a defining JENI as „Roma “, and/or as „trunk of the Roma “, let alone as of them „sub-group/culture “. We ever gave neither a mandate for such a decision to the wheel cooperative in Switzerland nor any other organization.

If the wheel cooperative in Switzerland draws an advantage from this entry, then this lies completely alone in their discretion and by us on the sharpest is condemned. JENI are simply none „Roma “and we leave themselves also not from the wheel cooperative, into the ROMANI UNION and thus into an internationally accepted defining JENI as „trunk of the Roma “urge. We are JENI - and JENI we want to also remain!
