Library for SMS texts

For better applications - Dresdens researchers are the laws of the SMS messages on the trace. (openPR) - Dresden, 09 February 2007. A researcher team from coworkers of the GWT-TUD GmbH and the technical University of Dresden collects SMS messages (message service short). In such a way won texts are arranged in a SMS library. They are to be used later for the development of new applications, for example for text messages in the mobile phone. Mobile phone and CO. should be to serve so in the future user-friendlier, faster and above all simpler.

„Many developments of communications equipments take place at present in the laboratory under artificial conditions, with designed data. Material text datas are collected, evaluated statistically and aligned by this project the technology to it. Thus one can arrange the technology quasi, more naturally more human, more intuitive. The operation becomes “more human”.

For the project immediately participants are looked for, who have experiences in handling text messages and between 15 and are 60 years old. Altogether more than 100,000 text messages with several millions words are needed. The SMS Sammelaktion will presumably last until April.

As small the participation with 10 euro is recompensed thank-beautifully. In addition also the possibility exists of donating the amount to a charitable purpose.
