ZTE builds CDMA net
(openPR) - technical European premiere in the Czech republic
Munich, 22 February 2007 - ZTE, offerer of telecommunications technology and network solutions, won MobilKom, the prominent Czech bundle radio net operator, as a customer, global acting. In accordance with the agreement ZTE will begin country-wide code division multiple ACCESS (CDMA) with the structure - network in the Czech republic. It concerns thereby the first commercial CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Rev.A net in Europe. The emphasis is on the supply of mobile data and Push ton talc services (PTT).
„The Czech republic stands before a rapidly growing demand for high-speed Internet services. But due to integration problems with existing systems as well as the cost retards the supply of these services under normal conditions”, explains Guo June, president for central and Eastern Europe with ZTE. „Our ZTE technology CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Rev.A addresses these problems. Highly integrated compact basis stations, which we will use for the radio net, lower the investment and operating cost of MobilKom substantially. And the all IP net made available by us offers besides a fantastische platform for the smooth further development of the operator system. “
The CDMA products of ZTE are used of more than 100 Telekom operators in over 60 countries; this corresponds more to than 50 million connections. Thus the CDMA technology is in the meantime for the most successful Telekom export product of China is promoted.
