HALCON 8,0 in the summer 2007
HALCON 8.0: the new version of the software library with numerous world novelties for the industrielle image processing comes in June 2007 on the market.
(openPR) - after two years the MVTec software GmbH, brings Munich, the new version out of its software library HALCON. One can be now said: HALCON 8,0 takes many new paths, both which concerns new possibilities for the industrielle application, and which the user friendliness concerns.
HALCON applies world-wide since the introduction on the market before ten years as a technology course horse to image processing software. The development of the new version 8.0 is final, the locking test phase is running straight and the introduction on the market for the summer 2007 is prepared.
„Our product enclosure still more than only the actual software library “, means Dr. Olaf whispers, managing directors of the MVTec software GmbH. „We offer beyond that world-wide a free and very individual support. In addition we consider it very important to prepare our more than 30 selling partners thoroughly for the introduction on the market. In May 2007 therefore only once a large international training course meeting for the coworkers of the selling partners is made out by 20 countries, afterwards we will then go with HALCON 8,0 to the market. A goal of this training must be of giving our customers from the first day to optimal support with the use of new functionalities of HALCON 8,0. “
To have HALCON is 8,0 then starting from June 2007. The HALCON users may look forward now to the new version 8.0: Fastidious industrielle image processing still faster and in addition more easily will program. Beside more than one hundred new operators the speed of the entire existing software library for typical applications could be increased by on the average 25%, individual operators up to 500%. In addition HALCONs first integrated development environment for Machine vision (HDevelop and HDevEngine) is extended by assistants, who simplify the production of frequently necessary operator sequences clearly.
Numerous world novelties in HALCON 8,0 bring new possibilities for the industrielle to image processing. Here only some examples:
* Third generation of the pattern recognition („Third generation Matching “); recognizes
3D-Objekte in the area
* Shape based Matching now also on Farbbildern (multi-channel pictures)
* New operators for the substantial improvement of the ocr
* HALCON/.NET interface; improves performance and more effective programming than
with COM interface, in mono also for Linux usable. Thus HALCON is competitionless
at the image processing market.
Over HALCON:
HALCON is the comprehensive standard software library with integrated development environment (IDE) for Machine vision. HALCON shows an unusual efficiency for Blob analysis, morphology, Pattern Matching, measurement, 3D-Kalibrierung, Stereoanalyse and many more. HALCON had more than 1150 operators and places interfaces to hundreds industriellen picture introduction devices to the order. HALCON is platform independent and compatible in addition to Windows, Linux and Solaris.
