Thus the enterprise at large expenditure worries about the enormous quantities of water, which are used during production. The Schwemmwasser, which for the cleaning and for the transport of the carrots in the factory one uses, is cleaned in sediment basins and in its own sewage purification plant and afterwards the Erft is supplied. Ultramodern cleaning equipment in the fire-places prevents beyond that that with the enormous water vapour clouds too much dust arrives into air over Euskirchen.

Pfeifer & being enough makes from sugar beets many more than „only “white Raffinade. Are more refined brown sugar, hail sugar, Puderzucker or the Zuckerhut for the Feuerzangenbowle. Gelling sugar, white or brown Kandis - the broad product range is expression of the rapid development of the Rübenzuckers, since Andreas Sigismund Marggraf discovered in the year 1747 that the local Runkelrübe contains the same sugar as Zuckerrohr, which had to be embarked to date from far countries and which sugar made an expensive and exclusive benefit.

European professional school (EUFH): The binary way to the career

The EUFH is a nationally recognized professional school in private working group, which assigns one country widely and internationally recognized Bachelor conclusion and trade, industry, economical informatics, logistics, financial and plant management as well as building industry offer economical, industry-specific binary courses of studies within the ranges. The binary study consists of theory phases at the university and practical work in the enterprise. During the practice phases the studying can complete either training in the commercial range with following IHK examination or practical courses.
