Schalksmühle, 26 February 2007. Within the range empty housing offers Günther Spelsberg GmbH + to CO. Kg, a prominent manufacturer in the housing and electricity installation range, GTi housing with enclosure IP 65. The housing systems of the GTi series are suitable in particular for the uncomplicated assembly and simple assembly and/or extension of modular switchgears. Up to 440x640x179 mm large GTi housings have a singular Design, which makes it for users possible to build the individual housings after a simple building block principle to a complete and also later easily expandable switchgear together.
The side panels (flanges) of these housings are only inserted after the assembly and assembly into the housings, whereby individual adjustments can be made very uncomplicatedly and surely. For the easy extension Spelsberg developed a connection technique, which does completely without wedges or screws. Here outside of the housing interior housing links are inserted between two housing corners. In this way whole switchgears with few handles without tool can be installed.
“Although the housings are intended for the assembly by the factory and are supplied without side panels, correspond them highest requirements at statics, impact strength and with IP 65 also protection from external effects such as humidity and dust”, explain Volker leakage, product manager with Spelsberg. “The flanges from the very extensive accessories program can be pressed at necessary place simply into the sides of the housing, where they engage reliably.”
In this way the customer can accomplish necessary adjustments such as assembly, treatment or extensions fast and simply even, without risking the damage of the housing for example when deflecting the flanges. The intelligent housing concept grants not least due to the large flange openings even with later accesses a very light entrance to the wiring on the inside.
Support when planning of a complete switchgear or other electrotechnical projects comes in form of the “TreeCAD Spelsberg assistant”, a particularly developed software to the production of plans for Stromlauf, clamps, cables, wiring and overview.
UV ONES and weather-proof halogeneous-free housings of the GTi series are available in 5 modular sizes of 220x320x179 to 640x440x179 mm and consist of impact resistant glass-fiber reinforced polycarbonate. They can with different covers (grey, transpartent with integrated folding door) and accessories such as installation and mounting plates (plastic or steel), standard strips (soil attachment or with assembly owner), raising blocks and further accessories such as hinges, fixing bolts etc. being supplied. Housing links are attached to each housing free of charge, all sealing elements are in IP 54 to IP 68 available.
