Without maintenance nothing runs

Consequences of unsatisfactory maintenance (openPR) - modern trend maintenance increases the productivity and improves the availability. It prevents losses of production and lowers not least resources and energy consumption.
Progressive enterprises know that professional maintenance does not only open process improvements, but also costs save. It supplies thus an important contribution to the competitive ability. But in small and middle enterprises (KMU) the maintenance plays a rather unloved role: It is made responsible for losses of production and must take over the “fire-brigade function” with plant losses. This leads to the fact that she causes costs in the eyes of management only. Their positive contributions for creation of value and to the operating result are frequently unknown.
How one professionalisiert the maintenance in KMU, shows from the IFINKOR and the ARÖW (society for work, reorganization and ecological restaurant consultation ltd.) with technical company of the efficiency agency North-Rhine/Westphalia coordinated „Märki network maintenance “. In this network Instandhalter are out interlaced over 25 enterprises of the Märki region with one another. In the network experiences and abilities of the Instandhalter of small and middle enterprises are united. Exchange of experience forms the basis for the common development from strategies and measures to the improvement of the maintenance in the participating enterprises.
The maintenance check (IH-check) and the technical risk analysis for the maintenance (TRA) are two tools, which were developed by the network members on behalf and with technical company of the efficiency agency North-Rhine/Westphalia.
The IH-check is a collection from methods and Tools to the optimization of the maintenance. In the context of the IH-check strength weaknesses, processes, motivation and Qualifizierungsbedarfe as well as characteristic numbers of the maintenance are analyzed and evaluated.
The TRA is a method in line with standard usage, in order to optimize the maintenance of technical systems lastingly. Enterprises can increase the availability of their production plants by application of the TRA, avoid losses of production and reduce costs.
On the fair easyFairs maintenance to 14.+15. February 2007 in Dortmund is the IFINKOR associate exhibitor on the exhibition booth of the efficiency agency North-Rhine/Westphalia (conditions E: 15A). Here interested enterprises can inform in detail about the “Märki network maintenance” and its results. On 15 February of 11.00 to 13,00 participating enterprises report on their experiences with the network. Additionally practical examples are presented in detail to the IH-check and to the TRA.
