fp-eGATE - autonomous finger print admission control

fp-eGATE sensor unit (openPR) - Vienna, September 2006. Biometrix Int. (biometrix.at) really everyday life-suited finger print offers an admission control for private, commercial and industrielle applications with fp-eGATE the system.

Fp-eGATE the system can be operated completely autonomously, occasionally or durably at a PC with several sensor units. Fp-eGATE the system has already according to standard functions with other systems, if at all only are available as expensive options.

The exzellente recognition algorithm and the durable finger print sensor result in together a professional, safe and admission system on highest level, which can be served simply. Fp-eGATE the system offers an unusual and powerful function range. It has a storage capacity of several thousand users, memory for event minutes and makes possible now for the first time also the definition of time belts as well as the control of two different relay exits over finger prints.

Fp-eGATE the system consists of the sensor unit and the central processing unit. The sensor unit is installed within the unsecured range, the central processing unit within the secured range. The sensor unit comes into an industry standard Aufputz plastic housing safety class system IP65 and is suitable for outside application.

Those microprocessor-controlled central processing unit had an LCD display and keyboard for the menu controlled administration of users and sensor units, four relay exits for heading for 2 doors, before-configured, over different finger prints, as well as an alarm exit and an emergency shut-down over the sabotage contact. The acknowledgement of emergency takes place with a valid finger print.

The central processing unit had an inserted „RS-485 on RS-232 “converter for the enterprise of several sensor units into a 2-Draht network and has additionally a Ethernet (TCP/IP) connection.

Fp-eGATE the system is immediately operational after the assembly and wiring.

The provided BioAdmin software permits the comfortable administration of to one or more sensor units, of central processing units, from users for the collection of finger prints and the selective deletion or occasionally deactivates from users, the UP and Download of the user data and the expenditure of the log data with date, time and user id. and system messages than report file with a simple work time evaluation. Further the definition of possible up to four time windows and time belts is, in which at certain weekdays/holidays and to a certain time the admission is granted or rejected.
