Higher salaries, chances with a job change, good opportunities for advancement, successful Selbstständigkeit improves - a PR-further training can be the key to it. These are some the core results of an inquiry, which Metis - communication & analysis on behalf the Heidelberger PR+plus GmbH accomplished in October 2006 among the graduates of the 18-monatigen PR-Fernstudiums.

The results occupy clearly that the career chances for public workers with solid PR-training are very good. The desire for a job change seems more easily realizable by the PR-qualification: 33 per cent of the graduates in the meantime a place in another enterprise began. But not all participants begin the remote study with the goal of an enterprise change, but want rather in the communication departments of the own organization strengthen tasks to transfer or to leading positions ascend. Altogether 51 per cent of the graduates during or after the remote study their job situation in any form changed.

Both of career and content jumps the PR+plus graduates can report: Nearly a third holds guide functions, scarcely 50 per cent earns after the study more than before. Also to a successful Selbstständigkeit the PR-qualification help: scarcely 23 per cent of the graduates of remote study are active as independent PR-advisors and can maintain ground as generalists in the industry.

The good notes, which give the graduates to knowledge transfer with PR+plus, support this number: Feels 75 per cent well to very well by PR+plus for the occupation prepared, whereby above all also learning strategic-conceptional working is emphasized. This can ensure PR+plus among other things by the fact that at three locations in the year altogether seven courses take up the study.

Altogether the results of the first graduate questioning confirm the Heidelberger training concept: the combination of founded switching of theoretical PR-knowledge and practical conversion to operational readiness level phases prepares the participants well for the requirements of modern public work and becomes perfectly fair industry expectations.

The method: Metis - communication & analysis developed on behalf of PR+plus the inquiry and of 17. by 31 October 2006 accomplished. Scarcely 400 graduates of the remote study received a left by E-Mail to an on-line questioning; with a return ratio of approximately 47 per cent the study supplies meaningful results for the situation of the graduates of remote study.

Communication is not a luck thing - under this slogan the Heidelberger PR+plus GmbH offers its 18-monatiges remote study Public relation. Since the first course start in the year 1999 nearly 450 participants locked the training. In ten parallel running courses at present Heidelberg and Cologne study as well as in the Austrian Krems approximately 175 persons at the locations.

Two new projects PR+plus brought to at the beginning of of 2006 on the way: the E-Learning-module „bases of the PR “as well as a zweisemestriges master Upgrade, which offer the Danube university to Krems exclusively for PR+plus graduate. In Krems the remote study runs besides since autumn 2005 in the Austrian variant PR+plus Austria.
