(openPR) - Ottobrunn, 29.01.07 - the Initiativkreis future (IKZ) of the German society for military technology registered association (DWT) its symposium of this year organized with the IABG of 23. until 24 January. The symposium, which stood under the patronage of the center for transformation of the German Federal Armed Forces (ZTransfBw), carried the title: Concept development and Experimentation: CD&E in the dialogue.
In the focus of the symposium the dialogue between German Federal Armed Forces, science and economics was located. Under the proven presentation of Mr. Landahl Gette (IABG) considerable representatives reported of German Federal Armed Forces and economics on bases, methods, basic conditions as well as national and international experiences with CD&E projects.
In the context of for instance 30minütigen lectures the advisers pointed the current conditions out of the methods on the field of the concept development and experimental examination on the basis instructive sample applications and gave at the same time a view on future advancements in this area.
Concept development and Experimentation - went clearly out out of all lectures - proves thereby as an iterative process of the optimization of employment, communication and guiding systems, which require constant improvement and advancement.
A particularly important project in the area CD&E is the creation of common interfaces for information exchange of agencies of the German Federal Armed Forces among themselves with special consideration of IT-safety requirements as well as the structure of a NetOpFü group, an interlaced group from material and simulated clearing-up, guidance and communication systems (VintEl).
On the part of the economy Dr. Nuxoll, Rheinmetall Electronics, Mr. Imkenberg, Diehl BGT Defence and Dr. Kolland, System Design center, EADS reported on their experiences within the range CD&E.
The IABG was represented with two lectures: Mr. Professor Dr. Schaub reported to human Factors in the transformation to the topic „“, while Mr. Neumann demonstrated potentials of instruction systems for CD&E at the Beislpiel GUPPIS “a live-presentation in the simulation, integration and Testzentrum of the IABG (SIT) in the context of his lecture „.
Also questions and discussion contributions did not come too briefly. In itself the following conclusion discussion the participants had opportunity to contribute to the general discussion.
The IKZ symposium of this year was visited with approx. 100 participants very well and gave thanks of the throughout good lectures and discussion contributions a comprehensive overview of the current conditions of the CD&E projects in the German Federal Armed Forces.
Participants and supervisors were itself in the fact united that the topic CD&E should be further observed and be taken up in a subsequent meeting again.
