It's our turn!

How do young women with migration background live today in Germany Which goals and dreams have them And: How can our society support this new generation and positively use thus cultural variety
On these and other questions the Workshop would like „It' s our turn! “an answer give. 18 young women with different cultural would background start on 31 January into a fünftägiges adventure. Supported of successful women from economics and politics - likewise partly with partly without migration background - for the young women is made possible to experience economics and politics very closely.
The women accompany long one day a delegate in the Bundestag, go through a professional training to self statement and Diversity and discuss with successful guidance women - among other things in the Office of the Federal Chancellor - over integration politics in Germany.
A goal of the Workshops is it to mediate participant inside of knowledge of migration-political work and to encourage it in its political interest and in its ascent orientation. “It's our turn!” takes place from 31 January to 4 February in Berlin.
We are pleased, if you want to report on the experiences from the program. Gladly we arrange for you the possibility, with the attendance in the Bundestag of being and participant inside and the guidance women from politics and economics of interviewen in the Office of the Federal Chancellor or with the numerous meetings thereby. We put also gladly background informations as well as pictorial material to you at the disposal.
“It's our turn!” by the European academy for women in politics and economics Berlin registered association (EAF) is accomplished in co-operation with the federal center for political education. With the Workshopkonzept “It's our turn! ”, that was promoted by the Federal Ministry for family, seniors, women and youth in the context of a model project, the EAF a unique instrument for the motivation and cross-linking of young women developed.
