UNITRACC selected place is 2007 in the country of the ideas (openPR) - “those in the dark one sees not, is called it in the Moritat of Mackie measurer of Bertolt breaks. With these words the initiators of the country wide competition describe “365 places in the country of the ideas 2007” from the location initiative “Germany - country of the ideas” the industry portal UNITRACC, a project of the Knowledge Factory, Bochum. As “selected place 2007” may rank oneself UNITRACC in this year among one of the 365 selected places in the “country of the ideas”. From 1500 applicants a hochkarätige jury at the beginning of of December 2006 selected altogether 365 places, so that on each day in this year a “place” stands in the center and makes its idea with an own meeting of a broad public experiencable. This day of the open door takes place for UNITRACC to 8.11.2007 in Bochum.

“Germany - country of the ideas” is represented a common and non-partisan image and location initiative by Federal Government and German economy, by the Federal association of the German industry. The patronage took over Federal President Horst charcoal burner. A goal of the initiative is to obtain a positive Germany picture at home and abroad and to create in particular inland confidence in the efficiency and the future chances of Germany. One of the core projects in the context of the initiative “Germany - country of the ideas” is the competition of “365 places in the country of the ideas”, which distinguishes 2007 for the second time futurable and innovative ideas. Deutsche Bank is exclusive sponsor of the project of “365 places in the country of the ideas”.

To apply itself private or public institutions and agency responsible for the project, cultural facilities, just like enterprises, knew scientific research institutes education carriers or universities. Substantial criteria should be future orientation and topicality, originality and lastingness. The idea should have social relevance and model character beyond that. The already internationally several times distinguished platform UNITRACC convinced itself the Jury* by its extensive offer, from the ranges information (informing and investigating), E-Learning (teachings and learning) and work (programs and services) builds up. UNITRACC to a modern E-Learning solution fulfills all European requirements and could by the bundling and unification of high-quality authority carriers from the ranges engineering sciences, computer science and medium developers an outstanding niche position in the expanding market for E-Learning and knowledge management in the construction industry occupy. “We are very proud over this honor”, stress Dipl. - engineer Robert stone, managing director of the Knowledge Factory, which expresses among other things according to its opinion that the appreciation of the underground infrastructure increased also by industry foreigner strongly. “UNITRACC can help to place the meaning the underground infrastructure into the center of the interest there these the life veins for the en and disposal of the cities forms and thus over the quality of life and future ability, the metropolises, does not only decide”. On the day on 8 November in the context of the honor as “selected place 2007” the UNITRACC team of its virtual world will rise from the open door and for the visitors a view of the underground and behind the window blinds of UNITRACC will make possible.
